Carters Shopping Complex is located in the very busy commercial district of Wildey in St. Michael, just ten minutes away from Bridgetown. The anchor store is Carter’s General Store, which offers a range of hardware and household merchandise including sinks, cookware and kitchen utensils. The company also has a lumber and building department. Within the complex is Christophe’s Café, where you can purchase some light refreshments such as coffee, tea, smoothies, sandwiches and desserts. There is also Mademoiselle, a shoe store. A number of professional offices are also located here. The complex is close to several banks, car dealerships and other shops. Wildey is a commercial center just fifteen minutes from Bridgetown. Located on the main road in Wildey, the shopping center is in an area with lots of traffic and is easily accessible by bus. Here, you will find banking facilities, a mini mart for everyday shopping, and boutiques. Within walking distance of the plaza are several other businesses including other banks, car rental companies, bridal wear shops, beauty salons, a fast food outlet and several other eating establishments. It is close to the BET Sports Ground where cricket and football are played. Wildey House, the headquarters of the Barbados National Trust, is just around the corner and up the hill. -Marsilyn Browne

Palm Plaza is located within the commercial district of Wildey in the parish of St. Michael. This small complex features an assortment of businesses, including a beauty salon and several boutiques. It has adequate parking facilities, and it is also on the main bus route to Bridgetown. Palm Plaza is just across the road from the Wildey Shopping Plaza, and a few minutes away from the bigger shopping arena, Sheraton Centre. On this side of Wildey, you will also find several medical offices, as well as a major car dealership. A nearby business center provides copying facilities as well as office supplies. Peronne Village is a small shopping complex located behind the popular Big B Supermarket in Worthing on the south end of the island. As its name suggests, each store is in an individual building with its own entrance and opening hours. The cluster is beautifully decorated with gardens and shrubbery. Here, you will find boutiques for kids and adults, a travel agency, a coffee shop, a bridal store and a beauty salon. Medical facilities available include a dental office and a medical center. Several businesses also have their offices in this complex. Moreover, there is extensive parking and the shops are also within easy walk of bus routes. Coconut Walk is one of several shopping centers on the south coast of the island. Less than five minutes away from the Lanterns Mall and very close to Quayside Centre, Coconut Walk is where you go to get the latest designer fashions for that evening on the town, or a special event like a wedding. The mall caters to men and women as well as children. Souvenir options for visitors, as well as surfing gear and swimwear are also available. All the stores are on ground level, and each store has its own opening hours. Duty free shopping is available. Mall Internationale is centrally located in the Haggatt Hall area of Barbados, at a crossroad leading to the airport and to Bridgetown. The shopping center comprises a mix of business offices, a supermarket, a doctor’s office, and a wide cross-section of shopping opportunities. Ladies' clothing and accessories, shoes, household items, computers and office products, stationery, electronic items and sportswear are among the range of items available at this mall. A travel agency, bank, pharmacy, movie rental shop, photography studio and car rental office are also located in the mall. Restaurants in the mall provide fast food, Chinese food and pastries. Situated in Hastings on the south coast of the island, and just across from the sea, The Lanterns is an ultra modern shopping complex. Its wide range of stores carry electronics, clothing, surfing gear, home decor, footwear, health supplies, and everything from shampoos and skin care items to food and drink. Of special note is the food court, with a wide variety of restaurants guaranteed to make it the ultimate hangout spot for a relaxing evening. A Haagen-Dazs ice cream shop with outdoor seating beckons you to while the time away, while upstairs the outlet of the American chain, Subway, has become quite popular. Bridge House overlooks the waters of the careenage in the heart of the capital Bridgetown. At ground level is the famous Waterfront Café where you can sit outdoors, enjoy the sunshine and watch the boats come in while partaking of the finest Bajan fare. Pandora's Plaza is in High Street in Bridgetown, just two minutes away from the Parliament of Barbados. The mall features several small businesses, including boutiques, a grocery store, a photo studio and a hair and nail salon. Each store has its own opening hours. Parking is prohibited in this area, so it is best to park your vehicle in one of several car parks nearby and proceed on foot. High Street is one of the main streets for shopping in the capital, and here you will find a wide range of items for sale: clothing for men, women and children, household items, drapery and footwear.
