Orthodox Shrine of the Nativity of Mary

This Orthodox Christian shrine commemorates the birth of Mary, the mother of Jesus. An ancient Christian legend says that Mary served in the nearby Temple as a child, and gives the names of her parents as Joachim and Anna. The crypt may well have been a cave-like home in the Second Temple era. It contains a Byzantine era mosaic floor and you can light a candle at the shrine.
