A beautiful venue for a romantic evening, the Sea Front begins at the Al-Bedaa region and stretches right up to the Kuwait Towers. Take a stroll by the beach on well paved paths and let your eyes feast on all the greenery. After a long walk by the beach, you can give rest to your weary soles at one of the many beachside cafes or restaurants.
One of the best entertainment cities in the region. It is operated by Kuwait Touristic Enterprises Company (KTEC), where there are many amusement places and fantastic shopping outlets as well. The city is 20 KM from Kuwait city center and close to Doha as well.
A reclaimed land, which has now been converted into an artificial land form, is called the Green Land. With a total area of 785,000 square meters and a link to sea shore by a 134 meter long passage way, this place is a sure treat for the eyes! The most noteworthy thing is a 35 meter high tower, which stands in the middle of it and gives a spectacular view of the entire island. You can admire the sprawling landscape as you walk on the track. Most people come here on educational trips as it is a perfect learning environment.
Arabi club was established in 1960. The Club at this time was registered in the Ministry of social affairs and labor in order to organize some activities in football games, basketball and volleyball. The club has great history as it won many competitions and matches in front of many international clubs.
If you are in Kuwait, make sure you don't forget to visit Skating Rink, one of the largest skating rinks in the Middle East and Gulf. It has an Olympic rink that seats 1600 people, a small rink that seats 600 persons, a VIP hall, a cafeteria and a store that sells sportswear. One can learn how to skate, as the place provides qualified teachers for both adults and children. The rink is open to the public and it also hosts hockey games. During the festival of Hala, the rink transforms into a huge stage for music concerts and poetry nights. Membership per month for men is KD35, and for women KD25.
Al Shaab Garden is an amusement park situated in the Al Shaab area of Kuwait City. With 44 games and rides to choose from, no one can have the time to be bored here. It is a perfect place to let the kids run wild at the weekend and holidays. Visitors can also choose from a variety of fourteen restaurants -which are also a safe haven for adults who'd rather not be so active. The entrance per person is 3.5KD, but families are charged 0.5KD per person. A movie is shown every night, tickets costing 2.5KD. You can also enjoy the arcade games, where you stand a good chance of winning a prize - however, visitors should note that tickets for the arcades are not included in the entrance fee.
Spread over a glorious 7,300 square meters, Al Shaab Sea Club has something for the entire family. It has been a place of total entertainment since 1978. Swimming, tennis, boating, basketball, karate or volleyball - you can pick any activity that grabs your interest. Gamers will be happy to note, they even have an internet cafe and video games on the premises. After a jam packed day of fun, visitors can unwind on the picturesque beach right on the club premises! Admission: KWD3 per person.
Come by to the Happy Diver Center for scuba diving courses, boat rentals, equipment purchase and rentals, fishing trips and island trips. The scuba diving courses include those that impart basic and advance level training. There are specialty courses to teach you other aspects, such as photography, deep diving, night diving, searching, hunting and collecting, and navigation. You can also choose a course that will grade you as a One Star, Two Star or Three Star Diver.
