This is the largest Catholic congregation in Kuwait. In fact, it is composed of two congregations within one church; an Arab and an English community. Kuwaiti nationals are in the main Muslim, but there are a few Christian Kuwaiti families. The Arab congregation is usually composed of Syrian, Lebanese and Jordanian ex-pats working in Kuwait, while the English congregation consists of Indian, Philippino and European or American Catholic ex-pats working in Kuwait. This non-profit exhibition space is a haven for the city's artists and art enthusiasts. The spacious venue is divided into a number of individual spaces, namely the Main Exhibition Space, the Art Space, the Design Space and the Studio Space. At any given point, multiple events are being hosted at the Contemporary Art Platform, leaving you spoiled for choice. The gallery showcases the artwork of international and established artists, alongside emerging regional artists through a variety of thematic exhibitions. CAP Kuwait also hosts film screenings, lectures, school visits and art classes for kids, and workshops led by local and international artists. Al Shaheed Park is not only Kuwait's largest urban park but is also a cultural hub, a historic attraction, and a community space. The sprawling park boasts a contemporary design with walkways, jogging tracks, botanical gardens, and verdant lawns, interspersed with stunning outdoor sculptures created by local artists. History buffs will enjoy a visit to the Al-Shaab gate - one of the very few surviving gates of the old Kuwait wall, the Martyr Monument, and the Thekra - a memorial museum that chronicles the history of Kuwait. An especially intriguing addition is the Habitat, where visitors are given a chance to view and learn about the migratory birds that visit the city. The Kuwait Scientific Center is a huge complex built right on the waterfront. It includes all the following attractions: an IMAX 3D cinema, an Aquarium, a Discovery Place, the Dhow Harbour and the Salmiyyah Fishing Piers. Also included are a Gift Shop and the Scientific Center Restaurant. All of these are located within this complex. However, each one has a separate entry fee. It costs nothing to enter the complex itself; however, separate entrance fees are required to enter the Aquarium, the Discovery Place and the IMAX cinema.

This museum which opened in 1980, houses the private collection of the Rajab family. Priceless and huge, the collection includes books, jewelry, metal work, ceramics, manuscripts and more. The pottery section comprises more than 2000 items, and includes pieces ranging from the pre-Islamic times to the early 20th century. In the books section, you will find the newly published ones; these are all on sale. Glimpse into the history of textiles of the Arab world; check out the beautiful embroideries, weaves and costumes from various regions including Afghanistan, Palestine, Iran and Uzbek. The glittering jewelry section includes silver and gold ornaments from China, Thailand, Ethiopia and some other countries. The museum also displays rich and valuable manuscripts from different periods and places. The Dar El-Eid Exhibition Hall hosts lectures, book launches and exhibitions.
