The Tutankhamun, named after the famous Egyptian pharaoh is a beautifully decorated Egyptian and Middle Eastern restaurant. It's location right across the street of the famous Luxor Hotel pyramid and the sphinx gives you the feeling of sitting right in Egypt while enjoying hummus an barbecued lamp chops. The food is completely traditional and authentic Egyptian cuisine and very delicious. The interior is adorned with ancient Egyptians masks and even a real stone sarcophagus. The best part is than unlike restaurants in Egypt, beer and other alcoholic beverages are served!
The elegant Persian atmosphere, along with great food at reasonable prices makes eating here a true Middle Eastern experience. On Friday or Saturday nights, belly dancers perform with authentic Persian music. The meals start with fresh pita bread served Persian style with butter and onions. Salads are served next, with one of the most popular being the salad shirazi. Steak, lamb and ground beef kabobs are some of the delicious entrees. For a larger meal, try the fesanjun, a chicken breast in a wonderful pomegranate walnut sauce. For dessert, enjoy the sweet baklava. Wine, served by the glass, complements your meal.
