Carnevino is the Italian portmanteau of two of the best items on the planet, meat and wine. Here celebrity chef Mario Batali and renowned winemaker Joe Bastianich present the elegant dinner and wine menus. Diners have their choice between veal, lamb, beef, pork and poultry as well as the ability to match them with unforgettable vino. Of course, the kitchen also has seafood and other vegetarian options, but why bother when you can order 'BBL Beef' which Batali claims goes above and beyond regular USDA standards? Try the dry-aged bone-in Ribeye or the La Fiorentina prepared porterhouse, both choices will leave a massive dent in your budget, but they are worth it especially with a glass of Brunello di Montalcino. At the tavern or bar, you can also just order some 'Cichetti' or Venetian small bites if you don't want to have the full, sit-down service. Add a Prosecco made in the Veneto and you'll feel as if you are dining there.
Morels French Steakhouse and Bistro sits on The Strip side of The Palazzo Resort Hotel Casino. The place is like a combination of two restaurants, with classic French dishes like onion soup, mushroom quiche, pate brisee and profiteroles served along with steaks and fresh seafood. In a true French fashion, food is served with a selection of fine wines and cheese. Guests must also sample the innovative cocktails or indulge in the delightful desserts. The decor is modern classic, and diners can also enjoy their meals in the patio area. The service is great, exactly what you expect from an upscale restaurant; however, be ready to shell out the bucks.
After a long ride into Sin City on the saddle of your chopper, chances are you're going to be hungry. And not just hungry, voracious. So park that hog in the long line chrome plated Harleys glistening in the Las Vegas sunset and grab a table at the Harley-Davidson Cafe. Satiate that hunger with a big Harley Hog Sandwich, Homestyle Meatloaf, or Ultra Classic Burger, stacked over half a foot high. Top it all off with a hefty slice of Chocolate Lave Cake or Raspberry Bread Pudding and you'll be full enough to turn that Harley into a low-rider.
Fronting the Treasure Island Resort and Casino, this world famous country Western hot spot is turning heads on the Las Vegas Strip. The location is easy to find and the atmosphere inside is filled with lots of energy and fun. There is BBQ, whiskey, entertainment and even a mechanical bull that offers up prizes and surprises for those who manage to ride it for eight seconds. Most nights there is live music, and the other nights may bring bikini bull riding. -Lottie Tagupa
Delmonico Steakhouse is another of Chef Emeril Lagasse's successful ventures. The original Delmonico's in New York has been closed for more than 70 years, but its reputation as an elegant, luxurious restaurant is reincarnated here at the Venetian. Fabulous steaks are featured in addition to veal, seafood and pasta dishes. And the adage you get what you pay for was never more applicable than here.
You will feel as though you are dining in the study of Long John Silver, as the walls are lined with old leather-bound books and memorabilia. Choose from a large seafood selection, all flown in fresh daily. The lobster is very popular, as is the fresh salmon and snapper. Another favorite is the mesquite grilled steaks. The place has an impressive wine list and full bar service. Children must be at least five years of age to dine here, and there is no special children's menu. The SW Steakhouse found in Wynn Las Vegas is a cut above the other Vegas steakhouses. Offering a variety of entrees like pan-roasted sea scallops, roasted Scottish salmon and cheese-crusted Colorado lamb chops, the SW Steakhouse is not the typical meat and potatoes joint. Though, of course, they do serve meat, and it is to die for. Every steak is cooked to perfection and you can certainly find some specialty steaks here, like a double-cut rib eye or a 40 oz. Porterhouse for two. After dinner, try the summer sampler for dessert, but be sure to bring friends to help because this is a four course dessert with shakes, ice cream sandwiches, sorbet and ice cream bars.
