"Himalayan Mystic"
Nikolai Rerikh was an artist and theorist with a passion for Eastern philosophy and culture, a passion which took him on extensive travels around Central Asia and the Himalayas. The gallery doubles up as a conference and concert venue and is located in a 17th-19th century building which formerly belonged to the estate of the Lopukhin nobles. There's a hundred-seat concert hall inside which holds occasional classical music concerts, including performances by Russian ensembles and groups from the US, Sweden and India.
