Located within the Niagara Parks, on the western shore of Canada's Niagara Falls city, Table Rock Welcome Centre is a complex that is a wonderful attraction as well as a shopping haven. It is located on the periphery of the Horseshoe Falls. Table Rock Welcome Centre is an observation center, from where the gushing water can be heard and witnessed. The four-dimensional film 'Journey Behind the Falls' is screened here, giving visitors an experience of being behind the curtain of the falls. Built in honor of Serbian scientist Nikola Tesla, Niagara Tesla Statue serves as a reminder of the great inventors contribution to the study of electricity. Created by artist Les Drysdale, the statue is one of two monument built in his memory. The statue depicts Tesla, standing on top of one of his famous inventions- the AC motor, immortalizing the creator of one of the most used apparatuses of the modern world.
The Tower Hotel, formerly known as the Minolta Tower, ranks as one of the oldest towers in town and has been offering visitors stunning views since 1962. Rising more than 150 meters (500 feet) above the Niagara Gorge, the tower features a spectacular view of the surrounding countryside from its indoor and outdoor observation decks and top-notch dining room in the Pinnacle Restaurant. The tower is a popular spot to take in the views of the falls, and is also commonly used for weddings.
