Casa Funarte

The headquarters of a Government-sponsored cultural project, Casa Funarte hosts a varied program of events that encompasses music, dance, theater, poetry, and everything in between. This cultural space opened its doors to the public in May 1978, and since then has held a reputation as one of the best spots in the city to take in performing arts. The atmosphere is refreshingly unpretentious, and the venue hosts locals from all walks of life. Reasonable entrance prices have helped to make Casa Funarte a welcoming cultural space for all, and foreign visitors are more than welcome to attend shows and events here.
