A prime example of early Mexican architecture, this stucco dwelling, Casa de Estudillo was originally built as the home for Mexican Army Officer Jose Maria Estudillo. Abandoned in the 18th Century, historians of San Diego restored the house in 1910. Located in Old Town, Casa de Estudillo is in the vicinity of many other historic sites that delineate tales of early San Diego.
