The polished white and wood interior gives the place the feeling of a big yacht. A casual crowd comes here to enjoy the seaside dining and a breezy atmosphere. On Friday and Saturday nights the mood picks up and the Palais doubles as a party place. Including all kinds of seafood, steak and pasta dishes, the Palais menu is impressive. Hot, cold and alcoholic drinks are available at the bar.

The Garden's Cafe Kiosk

The Garden’s Kiosk which is also referred to as Simpson Kiosk nestled within the premises of the Adelaide Botanic Gardens is popular for its coffee and beautiful scenery thanks to the trees and also the adjacent lake. As you enter the premises, the first thing to notice is its neat seating arrangement including the one in the verandah. The Garden’s Kiosk specialty lies in Mediterranean delicacies including Biscotti, Sandwiches, wood Oven Bread, Cakes and a wide range of wine and beer. While the place does not have many options when it comes to food, the cafe does serve a wide range of coffee. Some of the highlights here include Affogato, Caffè Latte, Long Black, Cappuccino, Hot Chocolate, Piccolo Latte, Macchiato and Espresso. Apart from coffee, it also serves pastries that are locally sourced and hand-baked daily.
