Franklin Township Hall is located in Kent, Ohio. It is also known as the Town Hall and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on October 10, 1975. It was built in 1837 as an office for the Franklin Silk Company which was later purchased by the Franklin Township to be converted into home of the government.

Saint Joseph's Roman Catholic Church is an architectural landmark in Massillon. It is designed in the Gothic architectural style replete with a square tower and beautiful stained-glass work. This church building features on the National Register of Historic Places, and hosts weekly mass and services.

Big Creek Reservation is a sprawling piece of untouched forest, in the little town of Middleburg Heights. Constructed in 1837, the Perkins Stone Mansion belonged to Colonel Simon Perkins, who was the son of Akron's founder General Simon Perkins. This historic house museum is now maintained by the Summit County Historical Society of Akron and is also their headquarters. One of the most striking Greek Revival style houses in the area, the repository is decked with period furnishing telling the story of its past residents, city and county.
