"Cajun Flair and Local Pride"
Fresh cuisine, great music and an air of camaraderie at the Parish Public House bring to Albany a little of the joie de vivre that has made Cajun culture renown the world over. While the kitchen serves up Louisiana classics like shrimp po'boys, etoufee and alligator bites, a pride for all things local shines through ingredients that are sourced from the region's farms and purveyors. The live music program is more eclectic in design, featuring new and local talents, alongside artists from all around the country. From bluegrass, country and jazz, to rock and hip-hop, the Parish Public House supports a varied offering that keeps the party rolling long after the kitchen has closed. The bar offers a thoughtful selection of micro brews that reflects the same freshness and flair that makes this place so great. Although usually open from Monday through Saturday only, the Parish Public House sometimes opens its doors on Sundays as well if there is a concert being hosted at the nearby Times Union Center.
