Traianoupoli

The historic region of Traianoupoli is a part of the municipality of Alexandroupoli in Greece. This municipal unit was established in 2011, and comprises of four communities - Nipsa, Loutros, Antheia and Doriko. It derives its name from Trajan, the renowned Roman Emperor and civilian administrator. Traianoupoli is noted for its ancient heritage structures, with the most notable ones being the Roman baths. Don't give this place a miss at any cost! It is an absolute must-visit.
