"Famous Clocktower"
Originally built by Ziya Pasha, the governor of Amasya in the 19th Century, Saat Kulesi was demolished to build the new bridge. It was rebuilt in 2002 and is near to the Government House. Built in minaret-style, the cylindrical structure features a rectangular top with clocks on all four sides. Today, it is an important landmark in the city and is a much photographed building.
