"Former Madhouse"
Established in the year 2005, Het Dolhuys museum is found in an old asylum dating back to the 14th Century. In the past, this former madhouse was home to plague victims, lepers and mentally challenged patients. Today, the museum houses an extensive collection of artifacts contributed by several psychiatric hospitals. One of its primary attractions are the 16th-century oarlock cells which still remain intact. Several interactive exhibits are also present inside the museum.
