Ramon Peralta Adobe Historic Site

"Early Settler's Abode"

Ramon Peralta, one of the early settlers of Orange County, left his adobe without care after his death in 1873. Pablo Dominguez moved in with his family after extensive renovation and the family stayed there until 1895. After Dominguez passed away, the adobe was sold to E. Walter Pyne, who restored and made the structure sturdy, to stand the test of time and nature. After being acquired by the Environment Management Agency, it was leased out to C. Robert Langslet. It was then that it was redone and opened to public as a historic site.
