Ethnography Museum of Ankara celebrates the rich culture and heritage of Ankara and houses an exciting display of folkloric items dating back to the Seljuks and Ottoman reigns. The museum is nestled inside a historical structure which housed a statesman's tomb till the year 1953. The museum's walls are decorated with pictures of the last rites of Turkey's first President, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. Displays at Ethnography Museum of Ankara include henna rituals, rug-making, Anatolian jewelry, ancient doors and Seljuk ceramics, among others.
