The spot is famous as both a bakery and colonial-style courtyard restaurant offering breakfast and light meals. The menu is surprisingly non-conventional, with items like stuffed potatoes and "pancake sandwiches" built out of pancakes and fried eggs. A glass case holds several cake choices baked each day, but after tasting the banana bread it's hard to suggest anything else!
