"Walk to the Left Bank"
The river Scheldt divides the city of Antwerp into two major parts. On the right bank you have the old city center and the old harbor and across the river the newly developed Linkeroever or Left Bank. Besides the port and its industries there are many high-rise flats but also some interesting nature spots for you to explore. You can take the underground tram (2, 3 or 15) or you can walk via this pedestrian tunnel, which is called the Sint-Anna tunnel. It's about a 10-minute walk under the Scheldt and you can take your bicycle or moped also. Entrance is free.
