Sheltered by leafy boughs, several trails meander across Shively Park, inviting visitors to explore and relish the sweet delight of a communion with nature. While the grassy open spaces of Shively Park are a great place to enjoy a casual game of frisbee, the playground is a delight for the park's younger visitors. Shively Park also features picnic shelters, and a community hall that is complete with a kitchen and can be hired for weddings, birthday celebrations, concerts and other events.
