Set within Fort Yargo State Park in Georgia is the 260-acres (105 hectares) Fort Yargo Lake. Surrounding this lake is a sandy beach. Lined with trees, this spacious beach features a pavilion that can easily accommodate over a hundred guests. This beach also features several yurts, cabins and tents for camping, a boat launch, playgrounds, hiking trails, multiple picnic areas and more. When the weather is warm and sunny, visitors can go swimming, fishing or paddling on the azure blue lake.
