North Oconee River Greenway is a beautiful park that is set along the North Oconee River. This 3.5-mile (5.6 kilometers) long park features a nature center and several trails. These trails are known as Pulaski Heights Trail, Millege Extension Trail and Trail Creek Trail. They can be used for hiking, skating and biking. It connects to other trails like Cook's Greenway Trail.
Watson Mill Bridge State Park is another of Georgia's interestingly named natural facilities, located a few miles south of Comer on GA-22. Depending on your idea of good outdoor fun, choose from multiple tent, trailer, or RV campsites, pioneer camping facilities, or shaded picnic sites, along with group shelters.
