Whenever you are looking for the perfect suds, visit this cafe where you can get yours in the form of Cappuccino or a frothy beer. It's all about brewing at Wright Bros, it doesn't matter if the shop brings in roasted beans for its coffee or local Texan brewmasters for its beer. The bar has 38 different taps and though most are local, guests can still find some international and national brands. The small space does not have room for a kitchen, but Wright Bros. still provides some light snacks and bites from restaurants and cafes around Austin.

Craft Pride is a place for every beer connoisseur. The place houses more than 20 local brews on tap. They have a small seating around the bar but the best attraction is the patio extended outside the bar. Beers and music can be enjoyed with a slice of pizza from Via 313 Pizza which is just an arm's length distance from Crafts Pride, or with food from any of the restaurants in close proximity to this brew pub. Check website for further details.

Whip In has Indian-infused breakfast items available until 2 p.m., perfect for late risers. Naan (Indian flatbread), scrambled eggs, cheese and your choice of chutney (a spiced, Indian condiment) makes up the breakfast naan (cilantro chutney is rather appetizing). As if that wasn't enough, they also have an impressive beer selection on tap, a vegan/vegetarian grocery aisle, a wine and beer area, and a tobacconist with Indian candles & incense.

A bit off the beaten path, Draught House Pub & Brewery provides welcome relief from downtown's Sixth Street. The European pub atmosphere and exhaustive selection of imported drafts make this bar a favorite among locals and visitors alike. The seating is excellent, with high-backed wooden seats and very thick wooden tables. Come visit on Wednesday for pitcher night with free pizza or on Saturday with free bratwurst.

The Austin Beer Garden Brewing Company, better known as simply The ABGB, offers beer ranging from dry beer to Belgian ales. The sandwiches, pizzas and pies make for good accompaniments and the salads are refreshing. There is a store from where guests can buy their favorite ABGB logo T shirts and caps too. The Austin Beer Garden Brewing Company is also a great concert venue. Check website for events and further information.

A lively atmosphere and friendly crowd make for a fun evening at the Black Sheep Lodge, whether you're here to catch a game or simply hang out with friends. A popular local institution, the bar offers a varied list of wines, cocktails and no less than 26 beers on tap. The food menu offers starters and light bites like sandwiches and hot dogs. Burgers at the Black Sheep deserve a special mention and should not be missed. With a large number of screens occupying every corner of the space, you'll never miss any sporting action. The outdoor patio is a popular hangout when there's no game in progress. Check website for more.
