Biku

Biku is located among some of Bali's most lavish boutique resorts and restaurants, yet manages to hold its own comfortably. It is set in a restored 19th-century Javanese Joglo villa, featuring delightfully carved teak panels. Throughout the dining area are strategically placed ornamental antiques. It has a real timeless colonial era ambiance, however the food is strictly modern Mediterranean. There are some imaginative entrees on their vast menu, including the marinated balsamic chicken filet, pan fried snapper and tuna, and a delicious feta burger. Fancy something a little more substantial? The Australian beef pies come with a mountain of mashed potatoes and onion gravy, and should satisfy a small army. There are plenty of cakes and pastries for dessert, even English scones and blueberry muffins are available. Biku opens for brunch, lunch and dinner until 11pm nightly and offers off-street parking for diners.
