The Auld Shabeen, as it is known, is located beside the famous River Moy, one of the finest salmon rivers in the country. The pub is hard to miss with its distinctive Irish frontage, including life-size statues. Inside you will find this theme continued with open fires, bric-a-brac and old paintings. It has a great atmosphere, welcoming and comfortable, and the owner, Betty Sweeney, is a wonderful character. There is traditional music every Monday night when you can sample tasty shabeens: Irish bar-bites cooked over an open turf fire.
