Although Bangor enjoys it's fair share of Asian food, it falls somewhat short on Indian cuisine. Taste of India is one of very few restaurants in town that gives the locals their regular Indian fix. Located on Main Street, close to Maine Discovery Musuem, the restaurant offers delicious staples like rotis, curries, rice, including many meat and poultry preparations as well as an eclectic vegetarian selection. Midst an elegant setting, the restaurant serves scrumptious offerings like lamb vindaloo, chana masala and chicken tikka masala, to name a few. Thanks to the efficient service and the delightfully-moderate prices, this one's worth a visit.
