"Great Variety & History"
Boadas Cocktails, located off Las Ramblas, was opened by Cuban-born Miguel Boadas in the 1930s and is now run by his family. Despite its touristy location, this tiny bar with no tables has managed to retain its original charm. You can stand at the bar and order from the long list of classic cocktails. Many of the house specials, invented by Miguel himself, pay tribute to fictional characters or real people, such as Sofia Loren, Joan Miró and Frankenstein, while others are named after places in Barcelona.
