Barcelona's Town Hall had these botanical gardens built on a former garbage dump. It takes up 14 hectares (35 acres) of space in the middle of Migdia park on Montjuïc hill. You'll see examples from the main species of flora found in the five regions of the world that have a Mediterranean climate. All the plants and flowers are arranged according to their region and habitat of origin to give you a brief tour of the plant world.
