Church of St Augustine


"Clutton’s Finest"

The Anglican Church of St Augustine is a parish church in Clutton, Somerset, England. Its origins can be dated back to the 13th Century however several Victorian influences are also apparent. The building was constructed using red sandstone and was perfectly placed near the center of the village. Its 18th-century bell tower comprises of two bells made by the expert Bilbie family. The church is dedicated to the famous Christian theologian and philosopher – St Augustine of Hippo. English Heritage declared the monument a Grade II-listed building.
