Saginaw Valley Naval Ship Museum is a great place to relive the Naval History of America. This nicely maintained and restored ship museum played a major role in the Vietnam war. You can tour around the multiple levels of the ship that is nicely lined with interesting exhibits and artifacts. There is a delicate gift shop from where you can shop for collectibles and souvenirs so that you can have some memories of your visit. A great attraction in the area to experience some great History. Open from March through December.

Michigan's oldest brewery, the Frankenmuth Brewery was established in 1862. The brewery has won several awards and medals in prestigious beer championships for its smooth and delicious brews. You'll be hard pressed to find better brews in Michigan than what are available at this historic brewery. They offer guided tours where visitors can witness the making process of their favorite ales and lagers. After an informative tour, visitors can have a hearty meal at the brewery's in-house restaurant.
Founded in 1998, Bay City Boat Lines - Middlegrounds Dock has public and private tours along the Saginaw River and Saginaw Bay. They also offer private charter. The Free History Tour Series by local historians on-board is a hit among locals and tourists alike. Hop aboard the Princess Wenonah or Islander for these narrated cruises to chronicle the past as you ply the river. Dinner cruises is part of their special events program and are held periodically.
Built in 1904 for the Pere Marquette Railroad Company, Pere Marquette Depot was for a brief time the home of Greyhound Bus Company. It was the last one of the passenger train stations remaining in the city by 1982. Efforts were made to protect this vacant and derelict building. Thankfully, it was bought by the Great Lakes Center Foundation who renovated it to be used as an events venue. With its sweeping stairway and old-worldly elegance, it is a much sought after space for intimate weddings, meetings and private functions.
A part of Frankenmuth High School, Bronner Performing Arts Center is a premier performing arts facility in town. Opened in 2003, it is not only used school events but for a lot of cultural programs for the community. This state-of-the-art venue showcases theater, concerts, dance shows, orchestras and children's theater regularly.
