Beijing Train Station

This station is centrally located and is on the circular underground line. A ticket office for foreigners, where tickets for all Beijing stations can be purchased up to four days in advance, is located in the first-class waiting room on the ground floor. Some English is spoken, but timetables are in Chinese only. Economy-class passengers must queue in specific waiting halls, and can only access the platform once their train has arrived. Trains leave northeastwards towards Harbin, northwest to Inner Mongolia, East to Tianjin, and Qingdao, and southeast towards Shanghai. International services run to Moscow and Ulan-Bator.
