"Prehistoric Museum"
Established in 2000, Museum of Lebanese Prehistory is located in Beirut. It is one of the first prehistoric museums in the country and is has an extensive display of archaeological discoveries from the area. The collection ranges from animal and human bones to statues to agricultural tools, fossils, pottery, etc. The museum has a separate display of photographs and samples from the various landscapes in Lebanon and tries to explain the evolution and changes in climate and topography. They conduct workshops and temporary exhibitions on a regular basis.
