The Artea shopping center is one of the biggest in Bilbao, and like most others, it's on the outskirts of the city. In this particular case, it's on a hillside near Getxo and some 10 kilometers from Bilbao, but within metropolitan Bilbao (or 'Gran Bilbao' in Spanish). The mall's features all types of shops, services and restaurants under one roof. You'll find fashion outlets, computer stores, home decoration items, sports clothes and equipment and a new high-quality cinema. If all that weren't enough, there is a good variety of restaurants to choose from and even the biggest bowling alley in the country, plus free parking. In other words, it's very easy to spend an entire day here without getting bored.
