Bill Battle Coliseum, in the campus of Birmingham Southern College is an arena with a capacity of 2000 seats. Home of the college's Panthers basketball team, this arena is named after Bill Battle Jr., the athletic director of Birmingham Southern College. Apart from the sports events it can also be used for conferences and concerts. The Coliseum is a part of Edward L. Norton United Methodist Center and has various facilities from ample parking space to locker rooms for visitors. The coliseum is connected via an underground tunnel to the adjacent Striplin Sports Centre.
