Situated in the midst of downtown Birmingham, Boutwell Auditorium is accessible for locals and tourists alike. It can hold up to 6,000 people in the main arena and is therefore the venue for an amalgamation of productions, ranging from rock and theater shows to concerts. It's also used for trade and fashions shows. Designed in art deco style, the auditorium's lobby is done up in chic marble and is a great place to check out Alabama's up-and-coming theatrical talent.
Located in the heart of the city, The Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex is the primary meeting facility for large events, conferences, and conventions. It covers a complex of 220,000 square feet of exhibition space and state of the art facilities. Several of Birmingham's best hotels are located within 15 minutes of The Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex and The Birmingham International Airport. Whether it is a tour, event, exhibition or just a reunion, this is a good event space.
Located in Downtown Birmingham, Linn Park is known for its elaborate walkways and the municipal buildings that surround it. The space has been used as a park since the inception of the community in 1883 and it was formerly called Central Park, Capitol Park and Woodrow Wilson Park. Over the last century the park suffered from ups-and-downs, but when it was re-landscaped in 1988, the city renamed it in honor of landscape architect, industrialist and Birmingham benefactor Charles Linn.
Located on Reverend Abraham Woods, Jr. Boulevard at Lynn Park, the Birmingham Museum of Art is recognized as one of the finest art museums in the Southeast. Its collection includes more than 18,000 ancient and modern works of art. In addition to the various galleries, the museum also houses a library, cafe and sculpture garden. The Birmingham Museum of Art offers a wide range of programs including gallery lectures, special exhibitions, films, and concerts. Admission is free, and guided tours are offered for groups of eight or more.
The BJCC Exhibition Halls is one of the major venues of the Birmingham–Jefferson Convention Complex. It is mostly used for large exhibitions and tradeshows. However, even smaller events can be hosted as the area is partitioned into three smaller locations such as the BJCC South Exhibition Hall, BJCC East Exhibition Hall, and BJCC North Exhibition Hall. The venue is well-equipped with light and sound arrangements as well as it can be redecorated as per the requirement of the event.
