The Queens Arms

by ell brown

"Small but Comforting"

One of the dwindling reserves of traditional city centre pubs, The Queen's Arms is a small but comforting spot with very good draught Bass and decent lunchtime food at respectable cost. The pub has a local feel in the daytime but regular weekend entertainment packs in a fairly diverse mix of punters. It is this, and its vaguely historic feel, that makes the place good for an old-fashioned knees up.
