"Ancient Stonework Castle"

Dating back from the 14th Century, the Stafford Castle is a Gothic-Revival structure that lays on a slightly elevated land so that it can overlook the town. Owned by numerous families over the years, the castle saw periods of heightened fortune as well as years of neglect and abandonment. Now in ruins, the Stafford Castle offers visitors a vantage point to some stunning views as well as promises to engulf them in the stories of the medieval era. The grounds also house a visitor’s center, a gift shop and a cafe.
