"Groovy Tombstones"

Distinguished people need to be aptly remembered for their greatness and the mark they created in society. One such example is the Lunar Society Moonstones, the memorials of its prominent members. The Lunar Society which came to be called so because they met every full moon included members who were eminent philosophers, industrialists and intellectuals like Erasmus Darwin (founding member and grandfather of Charles Darwin), James Watt, Thomas Day, William Withering, etc. The Moonstones, where nine memorials of the members are placed was unveiled in 1999 which have carvings of phases of moon along with the names of the members. A fitting way indeed to remember the "lunartics".
