Narborough Hall is a Grade II listed building, that is believed to have existed from the 16th Century. Built by James Meade, a local landowner, it was remodeled considerably in the 19th Century. On looking closer, you will notice that the structure is made of local, pink colored granite. Current owners Paul and Wendy Broadley bought it over in 1976 when it was a wreck. In order to restore it to how it was originally, both of them decided to raise funds for its maintenance of the house. In 1992, the Broadley family opened the front section of their house as a shop. Today, the same shop is extremely popular and is run by Paul and Wendy's son and daughter-in-law. It now occupies nearly five rooms on the ground floor, while the rest of it remains a home.
