"Celebrate At The Georgian Country House"
The Chillington Hall holds some evidences of being a medieval fortified Norman dwelling. However, it was later replaced in the Tudor times into the structure that stands today. A beautiful Georgian country house that rests in the embrace of a lavish park designed by Lancelot Brown. The Hall is listed as a heritage structure and was said to have been built somewhere around 1724 to 1785. It was mainly designed by Francis Smith with John Soane, redoing the whole thing a few decades later. Today, the hall is a residence of the Giffard Family. It is quite a delight to visit and is often rented out for occasions like wedding and banquets. It is also given out for corporate events and dinners. A ball is also organised post dinner in their stunning Marquee.
