Aqualate Mere

Aqualate Mere is a great place to camp outdoors in the English Midlands. It is the largest natural lake of the region. Considered to be a National Nature Reserve, it forms as the central habitat for a diverse population of fish and birds. It is also the breeding ground for some select species like the Common Snipe and the Wild fowl. It is a glacial lake said to have been formed some 50,000 years ago. Aqualate Mere makes for a great place to soak in some natural beauty and spend some good time outdoors.
