The Stanford Viaduct is a small bridge that carries the Great Central Railway line over the river Soar. It is 176 yards, which is around 160 meters, long and still remains to be in a good condition. Currently it used by the steam heritage trains that run on the Great Central main line. The Viaduct was built by Henry Lovat and is beautiful man made addition to the surrounding natural landscape.
