Chetwynd Park

Chetwynd Park is a beautiful historic park which was made as a part of an estate in the 18th century. The country house that stood on the estate is lost and thus the park remains as the only reminder. The origin of the park dates back to 1388. Enclosed are woodlands, a majestic deer park, a small lake and a huge garden. The park mostly consists of deciduous trees and around 115 Père David's deers were brought here. The park is used to host the Newport show and various other local events all year round. The deer park is also used for educational purposes.
