Minister Pool is a reservoir that is fed by the Leomansley and Trunkfield brooks. It is believed to be have existed as early as the 12th or 13th Century. It is now owned and managed by the Lichfield District Council and is owned by Lichfield City Council. It has become a popular area for a casual strolls or brisk walks. The year 2009 saw Minister Pool launch a Speak'er's Corner on Dam Field, where debates, celebrations and performances take place.
