Blithfield Reservoir

The Blithfield Reservoir is located in the Blithfield Estate and is the chief provider of of water to the local households. The reservoir is 800 acres (324 hectares) and is a habitat for wildlife, especially birds. Most of its surrounding woodland is a haven for bird watchers and nature enthusiasts. The place offers walks into the entire estate surrounding the reservoir. There is also an educational center on site which helps school groups. There are bird hides and feeding stations installed in the estate which makes its a great place to spot local species of wildlife.
