"A Royal Manor"
The Melbourne Hall was a royal manor and once a seat of the Victorian Prime Minister. The Melbourne Hall is where the city of Australia, which has a similar name, derives its name from. The hall has always been a manor for the prominent passing from the hands of one royalty to another. In 1962, a young English architect called Thomas Coke inherited it and used his skills to design the nearby gardens, that are still a major attraction of the hall. The current owner of the hall is Lord Ralph Kerr. The hall is most famous for its beautiful and antique tea rooms.
