Daniel's Mill is a corn mill that has existed for many centuries and is still in a functional state. The mill developed over the centuries starting from the 1600's, when it was built with a wooden wheel to finally being constructed in its present form in 1957. The mill was used to grind all kinds of grain for animal feed until it ceased operations. The mill and the adjoining house have been restored and preserved with great care. There are several walks you can take around the mill and the pool located nearby. Daniel's Mill is famed for having the largest waterwheel which is very well preserved and a great tourist attraction.

Spread across an area of 0.6 square kilometers(160 acres) the New Hall Valley Country Park is an area of nature conservation on the outskirts of Birmingham. The park consists of a number of elements like historic grazing lands, former farmlands and also a 17th listed corn mill. It is a water mill which is among the only two in working condition in Birmingham. It is also home to various animals, birds and plant life. The Chillington Hall holds some evidences of being a medieval fortified Norman dwelling. However, it was later replaced in the Tudor times into the structure that stands today. A beautiful Georgian country house that rests in the embrace of a lavish park designed by Lancelot Brown. The Hall is listed as a heritage structure and was said to have been built somewhere around 1724 to 1785. It was mainly designed by Francis Smith with John Soane, redoing the whole thing a few decades later. Today, the hall is a residence of the Giffard Family. It is quite a delight to visit and is often rented out for occasions like wedding and banquets. It is also given out for corporate events and dinners. A ball is also organised post dinner in their stunning Marquee.
