Trattoria Meloncello

This established restaurant, whose reputation has traveled well beyond the Alps, is located near the monumental Arco del Meloncello, at the head of the 3.6 kilometer trail to the famed Sanctuary of St Luke. The decor is typical Bolognese: rustic, simple and cozy. The courteous, attentive management add to the pleasure of the delicious dishes: the much sought after gramigna salad with sausage, or tagliatelle in sauce, the famed, tiny, hand-made tortellini in broth, or the equally popular house specialty steamed meatballs. Among the desserts, all homemade, the rice torte, panna cotta and zuppa inglese are much recommended.
