The informality of the venue and the easy-going management mean you can even eat food from the nearby supermarket on the premises. They do not have a telephone, so no calling ahead to book or request information - just show up!

There are also slices of pizza and sandwiches. Happy Hour is daily and goes from 7p to 8:30p.
Until the beginning of the 1980s the Osteria dell'Orsa was a haven for punks and skinheads. Then a new era began: jazz culture arrived in Bologna and the pub changed its tune. In the early years some great names played here including Chet Baker, Stan Getz, Steve Grossman. Now they hold concerts for local and national jazz artists. The venue is very pleasant with the lower room reserved for concerts while the pub itself is on the upper floor.

At Buca delle Campane, you will find original Bolognese cooking in a very attractive setting: the restaurant is set in a building dating back to the 13th Century, which has been completely restored. The walls are adorned with frescoes by Raviola-giovane (alias Magnus, of Magnus and Bunker) and others. At Buca delle Campane you can really have a good time. Every evening there is music with Italian and foreign revivals. There is candlelit dining for couples in separate rooms. If it is summer and you feel it is too hot to be indoors, relax!
If you are in the habit of judging a book by its cover, then you will spot nothing out of the ordinary once you step into Arteria. Very regular stuff stuff such as tables, chairs, beer on tap and patrons on a roll are what you might find here. But then again we are talking about Arteria's face vale, aren't we? What makes this regular watering hole stand apart from its peers is its lively ambiance. Arteria has an atmosphere unto itself that can have no compare. Nightly gigs, upcoming talent and good music is the order of the day here.
If you spend a certain amount of time in Via San Vitale during the night you will be bound to notice people continually going in and out of a steel door. Once your curiosity is aroused you will probably go to take a look through that doorway which is not marked by any sort of sign, and once you have moved the heavy velvet curtain you will find yourself in front of a staircase and will be hit by a wave of music. You will probably ask yourself if this is the entrance to Hell, if this is the case you will turn your heels and won't ever come back! Or, just maybe, you will be hit by an unstoppable desire to throw yourself into this place and you will do so! "Soda Pops" is a pub/nightclub which is located under an old building and is always very crowded (it seems like summer year-round!). The night owls who are regulars in this place prefer the hot and cheap (although small) environment of "Soda Pops" to going to a normal nightclub.
